Not long ago, the renovation and expansion roads in the third phase of the infrastructure construction and supporting projects of the Future Industrial Characteristic Town Launch Zone in Huizhou City were officially opened to traffic. As an east-west urban main road in the starting area of the town, the project will not only effectively alleviate the traffic congestion pressure of Huinan Science and Technology Park after completion, but also achieve interconnection between Zhongkai High tech Zone and the urban area.

　　In recent years, Zhongkai High tech Zone has made every effort to promote the integrated development of "science, industry, city, and people", continuously improving its industrial agglomeration capacity, urban carrying capacity, and public service capacity, perfecting its transportation network, and improving the travel conditions for the masses and enterprises. According to statistics, in 2024, a total of 21 transportation projects were completed in the district, and 55 newly built, renovated, and expanded roads with a total mileage of about 50 kilometers were opened to traffic.

In the past three years, the district has completed the "white and black" asphalt overlay renovation of 320 kilometers of rural roads, as well as a number of rural road projects such as the comprehensive demonstration zone for rural revitalization in Gangli Village, the beautiful corridors in Chigang Village and Panli Village, and the road upgrading and renovation project along X204.
